Alright Emmanuel Acho, Shady McCoy, TJ Houshmandzadeh, TJ Ward, Chase Daniel, and James Jones here is what you do… First of all put some respect on Mountain Time as we hosted you when you were here for Super Bowl LVII with your original show Speak. What you’re to do is take a page out of history on the day of the biggest sporting event of 2027.

You’re to take a page out of history and do what “In Living Color” once did in January of 1992 during Super Bowl XXVI. Speakeasy should have its own Super Bowl Pregame show leading up to kickoff stealing the thunder of ESPN’s Pregame Coverage. In 1992 “In Living Color” just pulled the halftime viewing audience over to Fox away from CBS for 30 minutes. How many people could you pull from a very colorless homogenized studio for 2 or 3 hours of pregame??

If I were you I’d guest in Ryan Clark, Bart Scott, and your regulars to a Super Bowl Kickoff spectacular after having live shows the entire week. All those former players with podcast followers would make that Super Bowl pregame special bigger than any individual show since your old network. You’d break Youtube! Keep in mind it was the following year at Super Bowl XXVII they booked Michael Jackson and never had a lackluster halftime show again.

Think about it… if you thought you made a dent in NFL Draft Coverage, this would be a coup of epic proportions. What happens if you nabbed a few million viewers who could jump in a live chat? Social Trey would need 8 hands to keep up with the activity. Keep in mind they pulled an estimated 22 million viewers and was the launch point for Fox as a Network. Two years later Fox outbid CBS at the end of the 1993 season going into ’94 for rights to the NFL TV contract for the NFC.

Now me? I fell out with ESPN 15 years ago

You guys are much younger but everyone black, everyone that didnt want to hear the equivalent of a Dan Orlovsky tuned to the young network. You have plenty of time to cultivate the idea and you’re welcome. You want to really see Speakeasy jump into the stratosphere?? Snatch several million from Super Bowl LI’s Pregame Show to a panel fo former players “really” talking about the game.

Just remember your Mountain Time brother and where you heard the idea first…
