This is where Taylor Blitz Times honors the greatest games, teams, coaches and players. We just had the Hall of Fame game to begin the 2026 season and we await the speech of Roger Craig, he is 15th of the men advocated for on my pages to be in Canton. Its been a long time coming. The greatest NFL teams that came up short of a Super Bowl Championship garner a title “Missing Rings”. These were teams good enough to win it all but somehow were tripped up right before the finish. Now they’re locked in the what if category forever…

In 2014 after the Seahawks won XLVIII it was time to line up all the Super Bowl champions, every #1 defense, record setting units, trend setting units and see how they fared in their season of dominance. How did they do against Pro Bowl QBs, great opposing running backs, top ten offenses, sacks, turnovers forced, everything to remove bias. So 200 defenses boiled down to this. Yes, here all eras are compared. The only time you hear some novice say you can’t compare eras is if they don’t know the whole of history.

What began as establishing a new page to feature this archive of 750 articles on Taylor Blitz as it existed has now become a full website reconstruction. Its a work in progress but you’re reading on the 37th iteration recreating the look, adding NFL scores on a scroll, along with trending stories regarding NFL teams, players, roster transactions, etc.
